Jan Aushadhi Kendra is a dedicated generic medicine store operating under the Government of India’s flagship scheme Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP). The Jan Aushadhi initiative was launched by the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India, to reduce healthcare costs by providing WHO-GMP certified generic medicines at prices 50% to 90% lower than branded medicines without compromising quality or effectiveness.
